Your reglazed surface has been prepared using methods and materials which are designed to withstand many years of normal use.
In order to assure durability, the following guidelines must be followed until fully dry, which is 24 hours after the bathtub is regaled, care must be taken to ensure that dust and dirt do not fall into the bathtub, as this will cause sharp points to form in the regaled surface. Generally, these can be rubbed off using a washcloth and a mild dish soap. Should your faucets be leaking, bags placed on them by our technicians will catch any initial water but should be reviewed periodically. In the event that the spill bags become full, they must be drained and replaced by the homeowner.
At the conclusion of the dry time, using a razor blade, remove any masking tape/paper by carefully cutting a seam at the paper base cleaning for the first 30 days, clean your tub only with clear mild dishwashing liquids and a soft cloth. After this period clean as required with a non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh cleaners, aerosol cleaners, abrasives of any kind, scratch pads, bleaches, and acids, we recommend Tilex brand soap scum remover.
Do not use soft scrub, comet, ajax, Dow scrubbing bubbles, or similar as these can dull the finish Stains To prevent stains from forming on your bathtub, never pour bleach, oils, or dyes. Avoid strong objects directly on the surface, especially metal cans which may form rust stains. If rust developers, attempt to remove with specialized cleaners such as iron out, the works, or zap. Never hang garments, which could bleed stains, on your bathtub.
